Shot entirely in Ireland and
London, England on film stolen by Nick Zedd,
is a rare glimpse into the unique private world of one of
contemporary
music´s most exciting and innovative performers, Lydia Lunch.
Zedd´s brief but intimate relationship with Ms. Lunch enabled
him to
accomplish what amounts to the most honest and moving portrait of
her
to date. For THE WILD WORLD OF LYDIA LUNCH, Zedd decided
to try a different method and therefore stole the thirteen rolls
of film
used to shoot his cinema milestone. Even so, five rolls were
apprently
stole from Zedd himself by another cinema buff lacking even more
scruples than the master. Perhaps this footage will turn up in
someone
elses film someday. More likely it got used for leader on
somebody´s
home movies.
