Jump Rope For Heart.
Jump Rope For Heart is a school program offered by the American Heart Association, and Heart Associations in Australia, Canada, Great Britain, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
The Jump Rope for Heart program teaches students the importance of caring for their hearts at an early age through fitness and heart healthy education. Jump Rope for Heart is an excellent way to combine a curriculum on cardiorespiratory fitness with fun, pride, and school recognition while raising funds for a good cause. Every year hundreds of thousands of students across America jump rope to fight our #1 killer - heart disease and stroke. In fact, millions of students in Canada, the USA, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand participate in Jump Rope For Heart every year!
Jump Rope for Heart helps students make healthy decisions that last a lifetime. Physical inactivity is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke. A healthy lifestyle that includes not smoking, making smart food choices and enjoying regular physical activity makes for a healthy heart.
