James Ellis is a 25 year old
Grad School drop-out. He likes the films of Walt Whitman and John Woo,
music by XTC and Ani DiFranco, funky hair colors and homemade chicken enchiladas.
He dreams daily about Lotto winnings and smart redheads. Help him.
Charles Baird is living a lie.
He is working as the best Image Tech for Raleigh, NC's News and Observer while
putting himself through school. But we know the truth. We all know that Charlie
just wants to be a contestant on "Win Ben Stein's Money." He'd do pretty well, too.
William Havanki may have the coolest job in
the world. He works as a computer engineer for one of America's defense contractors.
He gets a stack of cash, he does what he loves, and occasionally, he gets to blow stuff
up. Too bad it's all top secret and he can't tell anyone about it.
Marrit L. Howard will undoubtedly spend all her
life trying to turn whatever locale she's in into some pale reflection of the Texas she
remembers from her childhood but will never return to. In the meantime, she writes for
VideoLog full time, where she can watch an unending stream of crappy movies.
Georgette Oden lives in Austin, but only
until she finishes law school and moves to the big city. Which one? No one knows.
But the lure of money will have to compete with her love of travel to some exotic places.
Maybe she'll be swing by North Carolina some time...
Jim Ingman is a BU film school graduate
who occasionally looks like a cross between a Monchichi and a George Michael dancer,
but don't tell him that. Currently trying, like so many of us, to put his degree to
good use, he is living in San Diego with a view of the water.
Alice Hartzog still quietly grieves over her
favorite band, That Dog, broke up before she could see them play live. It's a disease.
Otherwise, she spends her days editing and her nights dreaming of a reunion show. She
currently lives in the D.C. area.
