A character proficient in hand signaling can send relatively intricate messages without speaking. This skill is highly useful for scouts and thieves. Two draw backs being, the characters must be able to see each other. The last is that there must be atleast 2 people proficient in signaling to be able to communicate. This skill allows a large amount of information to be passed without a need to make a sound and alerting potential enemies of a characters presence.
Types of information that can be passed along.
"There is a 20 man cavalry unit passing along the right flank."
"There is 50 Infantry holding position 200 yards away, North"
Types of information that could not be massaged.
"Count Banderwidth has his 10 royal footmen walking down the road carrying a light
crossbows"
What could be sent is.
"10 footman walking south, with a crossbow readied"
This skill allows characters to pass on enough information to know what groups or indiviuals are doing. It will not individually identfy a unit of people or an individual.
