Tapestry of Knowledge

This finely woven tapestry resembles any normal tapestry that would hang from the walls of the mightest castles. It depects a huge city by the sea and spans 9' x 15'.  This tapestry has a powerful anchantment placed upon it. When a detect magic is cast upon the tapestry an aura of alteration can be determined. On the tapestry is one small red house. In the depicted city there is only 1 red house. To touch this house and utter "I enter in the name of knowledge." After each use the red house moves. To find the house always take some time. Which varies from 1 to 6 hours (roll a d12 to determine the half hour incraments). The tapestry contains the most extensive library concievable.
The library within is on a small demi-plane. The entirety is filled with volume upon volume of books and scrolls. The Library is run by a creature known as the Caretaker, a gnomish looking creature, whose soul job is to answer questions imposed by visitors, albeit in riddles, rumors or cryptic messages.

Usage: Each person to enter the tapestry must search to find the red building taking (1d12)/2 hours. Only 1 person may enter at a time. Information gained will always be cryptic in nature. Riddles and partial messages can be uncovered. In game terms this allows the DM to give hints to their players to certain events or problems that players come up against.

History: The tapestry was hung in the Kings royal castle in Shannondale, where the kings could visit the stacks of books to research spells and find clues to ancient riddles. For many years the tapestry was lost after the dragon invasion. The Tapestry was recovered from a dragons hoard by King Balok Ironforge and now hangs within the mighty halls of Castle Ironforge.
