KTimemon

Note: this is a preliminary version of the KTimemon page. I'll update it as soon as I have time...i.e. never.

KTimemon is a small utility I wrote for the KDE project. It is (hopefully) well integrated into the desktop. KTimemon basically shows a bar graph indicating usage of system resources such as CPU, memory etc. For more information, you can browse a copy of the KTimemon manual.

News

29 Aug 1998 New version 0.2a. Fixed a small bug when autodetecting the location of the proc filesystem. Thanks to Tobe Toben for the bug report.
3 Dec 1998 New version 0.2b. Fixes a tiny bug in colour allocation. No need to upgrade if you didn't have any problems installing the thing, because there's no new functionality.

Screen Shots

Obligatory screen-shots:
KTimemon in a toplevel window   KTimemon in the system panel
In the left image, KTimemon occupies its own toplevel window, while the image on the right shows it swallowed by the system panel (save space on your screen).

Download

You can download KTimemon either from this site or the KDE Ftp-Server (or one of its mirrors). There is a patch available for upgrading from version 0.3a (apply in the ktimemon/ subdirectory).
