| My first encounter with a squirrel :-) | |||||
| Squirrels aren't something you see much in Australia, so when squirrel came into my life I found his message intriguing, along with him. I hadn't seen any squirrels, though I'd been told they were all around the apartments in the trees, just not when I was around however :-( . I'd been in America for a few weeks and still hadn't seen a squirrel. Not that I was really worried because I was learning all about the differences between Australia and the US. One HUGE difference was the prices of things, and I was going a little crazy spending money on books in particular because they were like 25% cheaper here than in Australia. When squirrel came into my life, I knew it was a message to slow down and prepare for the future. He was telling me to learn to save and ration my spending and gathering of things that I needed. I was also gathering knowledge through these books and not sharing it... so I began to work on my webpage instead so I could give more, which had always been my intention, I'd just gotten a little side-tracked :-) That's the beauty of animal totems, they'll turn up when you least expect them and their message is usually spot on in reference to what you should be doing to better your life :-) Now I see squirrels constantly, they're the cutest little things and live in the trees just outside the apartment... so much fun to watch.
