| As you cross the threshold of water, the sudden darkness causes you to stop still until your eyes adjust. As you look around you see a small fire lit near the back of the cave in which you are standing. Next to the fire is a figure sitting hunched over holding a staff. On your left is a carving of a figure with seven glowing points along their spine. To your right is a leather-bound book sitting on a bookstand. "Welcome to the watercave traveller. I am Kaya. This is my home, it is plain and simple, but that is the way of my life. I have little need for material possessions, they clutter the mind if you let them, I prefer to have a clear mind which can traverse universes than a house of simple belongings." She beckons you to join her by the fire.... What do you do? |
