The Waterfall
I walk as if I'm blinded. Like there's something I'm meant to be seeing but I'm unable to grasp it's meaning or anything else about it. It hovers, urges, prods me on, then gently draws me toward the end: the end I can't see.

I feel so alone. I have friends, many, but even when they surround my very soul I feel the touch of loneliness. Sometimes the curtain lifts and I find so much love, so much happiness: and then it is gone. The curtain lifts for but a fleeting moment and I can see. I embrace this awakening, however brief it may be: and find myself searching, waiting.

I wait for the answers as I search the corridors of creation for meaning. With patience I glide along the river, sometimes swimming: sometimes struggling, drowning: sometimes just letting the current carry me along. I know things are going to change when they need to and they will take a plunge into uncertainty: I will follow in their wake: as the current carries me into new realms, new experiences, new adventures. Over the waterfall.

The water rushes onward, onward, heeding the calls of a forgotten, perhaps never to be heard again language. It soars down the mountainside, ever onward carrying all in its wake. Pounding against the earth the falling water cleanses and consecrates our Great Mother. It is home, a wonderful world of tiny rainbows dancing along with mists of the rising foam. In canyons, in forests, in places never before visited and places seen daily. It is everywhere, the power, the call of the water falling. Onward, forever onward, unrelenting, ever strong.
