| For all you folks out there who are
really curious about this site and me, here ya' go:
I created this site because I really enjoy waves. I went in search of Lesbian and Gay ones and got really frustrated with all the porn I found. I wanted to create my own site, but I didn't have enough web space that was unrestricted (you have to use AOL's in 2 meg chunks) to make a site like this. I knew it was gonna be a big one! So when I saw an ad on someone elses page that advertised 10 megs free, I went for it. At first I was seriously disappointed with their service. But it has gotten much better in the past few months. When I'm done with school and working I'm pretty sure I'm going to set up my own domain. I'm pretty excited about doing this as it will make some many things much simpler. After I got the waves in, I decided that it would be really cool to set this site up based upon things that were free. The space, email account, guest book, chat room and software are all free. I use a combination of AOL Press 2.0 to create the tables and frames in addtion to a text editor for features the software doesn't support. For the images I used Photoshop, Gif Animator and downloaded a few that were free.
Jackie and I have been together for 8 1/2 years. While our relationship is not perfect, we just belong together and that's what has helped keep us going. We have a dog, Hannah and a cat, Oskar. They both bring us total joy. Once I've established my career, we'll be co-parenting with our dear friend Dave. Yup, we're gonna do the baby thing. It's already been established that I will be the host to the "demon spawn" as I lovingly refer to "it". I got laid off in November of 1997. At the time I was working as an internal Tech Support for the MIS department. I transferred into the position and just fell in love with the field. That job lasted only 5 months, but it was an epiphany for me (yes, I realize there are religious connotations to using that word!). I found out soon enough that I couldn't get a job in the field without getting certified and/or having much more experience. So after being prodded by Jackie and a lengthy enrollment process I'm finally in school until the end of December 1998. By then I'll be a Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Certified PC Repair Technician as well as A+ Certified in all 3. In other words, a certified nut! We live in Southern California and about the only thing we really enjoy 'bout it is the weather. We plan on moving when some family issues are resolved. We're thinking seriously 'bout Oklahoma 'cuz we have friends there and houses are pretty cheap. But we are keeping our eyes open for other places that don't have snow and aren't located in Florida. We don't have anything personally against Florida, just reptiles and a ridiculous amount of humidity. We wilt. Gosh, you must be bored if you've made it this far!! There will be a hidden link located somewhere, you mission now is to find it! :) |
