 This is not anything of mine, just something fun to do at another site.  Go to the Planet Out PopcornQ Movie News and download the finalists in the First Annual Queer Short Movie Awards -- you can spend an hour or so watching all of the finalists.  I have to admit that I have not seen them all, but I really liked the animated shorts Tit Chat and Candy Kisses.  How to Fake an Orgasm was pretty entertaining as well.  You will need RealPlayer or QuickTime but there are free versions of both of these programs available if one of them is not pre-loaded on your computer.  You will also have to log onto Planet Out, but that's OK, you can be anonymous, and you can get daily news updates from PlanetOut News and weekly film updates from PopcornQ.  Have fun!!!!

The 2000 Lambda Literary Awards were presented June 1 in Chicago, they were listed in Planet Out News on June 2, and on June 3 I launched this page!  Check out what won, read reviews of the books, and you can even order a copy.....


Hey new friends from the Southern Womyn's Festival!  Thanks for coming to visit.  For you poor souls who had to stay home (or thought they had something better to do) check out what happened.

While I was in search of the Washington Post review of Heather's play, I came across a selection of the most spectacular views from the Hubble Space Telescope.   These are absolutely fascinating.  Take a look and improve your mind.  You will not believe what you are looking at, I promise!  While you are in search of knowledge, check out what I am reading, and help support a starving student through school.
