my housemate went out to buy peanut butter yesterday... it's like $7 for a jar of that all-natural stuff!!! i had no idea... but then again, all i ever eat is pepperoni and mozzarella sticks...

5.5.01 the department of redundancy department
every night at work, before i actually get around to the "work" part of the job, i make the gossip rounds... usually everyone's got something new to tell me, but last night i heard the same stories like a dozen times over... it was frustrating...
sigh... i'm feeling anxious and/or agitated today... i'm going for a drive now.

4.29.01 600 hours of emotional bliss...
it's been 25 days since i've met mike, and my schoolboy-esque obsession with him has only grown stronger with time... i find myself latching onto every word he says, studying every motion he makes... i now realize that i've finally met my soulmate...
i also realized that, until now, i've never been in love before, though i thought there had been an instance or two... i've been in "lust" many times before, and i've generally acknowledged the fact... how was i to know the difference between love and lust when i experienced only varying degrees of the latter?
anyway, i've been spending nearly all of my free time with him, which is why the updates have appeared few and far between... my apologies...
i'll be on vacation starting 5.13 (yay!)... that'll give me ample time to finish the ek site and revamp areas of my own page... mebbe take a 2-day trip somewhere... i dunno...
4.17.01 5 days' worth of random thoughts
love rocks. i've been seeing mike (previously referred to as 'adorable blue-haired boi') for about 2 weeks now, and he's occupying like 90% of all my thoughts... funny, sweet, intelligent, creative and cute... i haven't been this happy in a looong time...
had a rather heated argument with my boss this morning... we were yelling at each other for a good 20 minutes about all kinds of things that have been pissing me off for a while now... i won the fight :) i had the good sense to freak out after i got my raise and bonus tho... hehe
sleep? HA!!! i'm lucky if i get 3-5 hours a day anymore, but it's really not a complaint... i've been spending more time with friends (and mike :)) and i've been making it to work early on a regular basis... i do miss the strange dreams tho...

4.10.01 another godzilla dream last night...
i really haven't slept at all in the past 32 hours, save that nap on my lunchbreak last nite... i think that helped trigger my latest godzilla dream...
melissa (an ex-coworker) and i were driving down the LIE in her taurus, when she glances back and sees a godzilla gaining on us... she floors it, but the godzilla keeps stomping everyone in his path, and we can't seem to lose him... for some reason, the LIE turns into this one-lane mountain road with a huge cliff on the left... we're still trying to outrun him, but we can't shake him... up ahead the road ends... we do a 180 and screech to a stop... the godzilla picks up the car with his jaws, and eats us whole.
that was the first time he won. dammit.
4.9.01 hungry.
i opened the fridge this morning... soo hungry... and there was NOTHING to eat... 30 bottles of salad dressing and 5 jars of mustard. ugh. and i'm way too lazy today to go food shopping. i'm just gonna eat stale triscuits.
so that party i had... a mild success, i guess... not nearly as many people as usual, but enough to supply me with a good week's worth of gossip...

i'm really getting the hang of this whole flash thing... it's wonderful... i'm working on my roomie's site right now, and it's coming along swimmingly... it should be up in its new form reeeal soon..
i also had that goal where i was gonna quit smoking by the end of march... i didn't quite make that one. i didn't even come close... truthfully, they could charge $10 a pack and i'll still probably be smoking... i'm so lame...
oh. and i'm having a party this saturday... should be the usual insanity it always is...

for some reason, fortunecity looks at my new flash page and thinks i'm linking to a competitor's site. but only half of the time. sometimes it's viewed without a problem. i don't get it... so if you can't see it on the first try, don't give up...

3.8.01 zzzzzzZZZZZ...
i have recurring godzilla dreams for some reason... the godzilla from that matthew broderick thing, not from the good movies... anyway, i'm out in front of my job with my assistant when we hear this rumbling on the side of the building... we run around to see what's happening, and there's this 53-ft. trailer shaking from side to side... i run over and climb inside, and there's our returns clerk (mike) in a labcoat and this huge lab... i ask him what's going on, and he says he's "breeding godzillas and it's getting out of hand!! go get help!"
so i jump out and start running to the front of the building, when the trailer flips over, mike comes running out, with a godzilla chasing after him... it tramples and eats him...
so i make it to the front of the building, and my boss (ted) is out there... i'm explaining to him about how mike was breeding godzillas in the trailer, and that one escaped, but he's all "yeah, whatever"... masses of people start running from behind the building (like hundreds of people, for whatever reason) and i point them out, but he's still skeptical... the godzilla makes it around front and we all run inside, except for ted. he got eaten.
the godzilla starts tearing apart the store and stomping on everyone, but i hid behind a bunch of rubbermaid in the kitchen dept., so i was saved...
then i woke up.
3.3.01 is it love or like? either way, it's still a mighty nice feelin'...
i'm not gonna go into that one... let's just say that i remain cautiously optimistic...
my kitty's reaching that age... i'm gonna have to take her to the vet before she gets the urge... one kitty's plenty to deal with...

i can do this thing with my eyes, where one stays crossed and the other moves around freely... i miss the days when this and this alone could get you a friend...

--cut down on smoking! yay! figure i'll be smoke-free by the end of march, i hope...

2.8.01 i think i found a new career...
...and it doesn't involve any physical labor or mental anguish... it's quickpick. from new york state lotto. all ya have to do is get yerself a #2 pencil and scribble next to a couple of lucky numbers, sit at a bar, have a few drinks, and wait. i played a bit yesterday, spent about $10 on tickets (and a bit more on drinks hehe) and left the place with about $40 more than when i came in. and i was there for only an hour...
i added a new poll to the front page... gonna change it daily. if i remember to.
