Management changes:- The Old Firm.. The New Firm.
We would like to thank last years management team for all the hard work they put in last year.
What people sometimes forget without these people we would not have a club.
Chairman :- Dave Sutcliff
Our chairman lost touch with the team this year but before he kept us in the league and was a good voice for us at the AGM's
Manager :- Steve Kite
As team manager he rallied the troop's each week , set about picking a team from the rag tag , drunk etc guys .
Kept the social events very lively with his wit and charm . DJ, Compare , all round fix it guy.
This year he has stepped down to become assistant manager to aid the new manager with his vast knowledge of team temperament.
Assistant Manager :- Miles Chapman
With two hard years in management , Manager (single handed) , then last year assistant manager to Steve.
I am sure Steve is glad he had him as his aid during those hard times.
Miles still has the best league results for SET , which any new manager would be happy to emulate.
We have given Miles a well earned rest by making him the Chairman of our team. He has been a part of SET from the beginning and
is probably one of the longest serving players.
Social Secretary :- Fran Flood
She never knew what see was letting herself in for.
But we must admit she did a brilliant job. Not only organizing all our normal events,
she still had time to arrange a team holiday for two weeks in Rhodes.
To put up with all the team members is enough to make anyone scream. Organizing differing events ,
Horse Race Night , Disco , Quiz Night and ensuring we always made a profit.
This year she will be stepping down to take a rest and some medication.
Treasurer :- Neil Lyons
Collected the subs ( twisting arms to pay) and ensured our books were always in order.
Handed the money over to buy balls then more balls as we lost them.
A new broom sweeps clean, with new/old blood in management the future looks bright.
Lets hope we have a even better year this time.
Chairman :- Miles Chapman
Ready for his slippers , he finally gets the post as our Chairman. His first duty is to go to the AGM.
He has been told all players will need to be signed up members of the sports and Social Club.
No Mannygate for our team thank you.
Manager :- Shaun Pavitt
Our Midfield work horse has taken up the gauntlet of being our manager this year. He has started by getting us lazy players into training.
No not another push up. With less changes of team personnel this year we hopefully will give the manager a chance to pick a good team.
We await his spectacular team tactics for the coming season.
Assistant Manager :- Steve Kite
With a difficult year last year due to new players being brought into the team . He groomed a group of players to pass onto the new manager.
Ensuring he keeps his hand in and to help continue what he has started , he has become the Assistant manager ,sometimes a harder job than the managers.
Will those players ever stop moaning?????
Social Secretary :- Lisa Pavitt
With her enthusiasm Lisa was a prime candidate for this role. I am sure with her tenacity she will prove to be a good social secretary this year.
Well in fact we have our first one lined up for the 4th August . Presentation Night . Good Luck.
Treasurer / Webmaster :- Jason Chapman
From ball boy to Treasurer .... Well if I have to buy them I need the money. Give me the money or I will write about you on the web site .
Pay up or be dragged through the gutter press. I have the purse strings, I have the power ... ( Manic laughter ) .
