This is Demarie, my brother's girlfriend. I drew it for two reasons (well, three, she's pretty): 1, to see if I could actually still draw things from life. (You will see no more of these. I like anime much better.) And 2: to hear my brother say, "Um...why are you drawing pictures of my girlfriend?" He did. It was funny. On with the gallery.
Sailor Silex, an angel of sorts. I don't really know what she is, but she's been my hybrid sailormoon-angel-with-a-tail-in-silk ever since 4th grade. I guess you could call her my muse.
This may not look like it, but it was a lot of work getting the shadows correct after I negatized the colors. At least it came out better than the original.
Pulse shot. Okay, everyone who sees this picture agrees it's very pretty, but no one seems to understand what's happening until I tell them. This is a scene in my manga/movie I'm writing. The blonde-haired guy (Kan) is standing behind She'ah and Kath'rin (those other two people in the foreground) and holding guns to their heads. Kat tries to hit the gun away and Kan shoots her in the side of the head. Sheah screams and jumps towards her as she falls, calling his sword to him with magic. That's the little motion-blurred handle in the bottom fore-foreground, and that's where this scene is frozen. Simple, eh? At this stage of realization most people back away in disgust and fear of me, which is cool.
Another mainish character, Kath'rin, whose skewed magical energy causes her to only be able to channel death and degeneration attacks. I don't really like this picture, but it's still my best one of her.
Ahhh, Sinami.Great guy/girl/?. Being the world's finest and only master of Tek mentha (the ability to use any and all classes of magic simultaneously), 92-year old Sinami has become a being without age or sex and is stuck in the form he had when he attained magical fluency at the age of 16. Sinami is the leader of the menthaic rebels in Klashaida, and the trainer of new magic-fluent recruits into the army. He is far and away the most powerful magic user in the world, but spends most of his time taking drugs to fend off his perpetual depression at being immortal.
Another Alika. I don't know why I draw her so much... Just a reflex when I'm bored, I guess. Oh, well %_%, here's Alika at her medicine/drug/heavy firearms street shop, smiling innocently. (The guns are under the table.)
Wiegoid! A slimy, yet cute genetic-experiment-gone-wrong, Wiegoid looks uncharacteristicly ferocious in this drawing. There's yet another sloppy colorization of our little pet in the photoshop section of my gallery.
Kath'rin sitting. I have been unable to throw away this page of ninth grade science notes for two years because of this crummy little doodle! Up on the website it goes!
Athena in battle. Prrr. Erin hugged me for this one. A picture of Athena helping the Achaians slaughter the Trojan army by lending strength to their warriors.
A desert lake. This graphite intensive drawing is of a dying breed for me. I haven't done a purely scenic (meaning without people) picture in a long time, but I think it came out okay.
