| Download files and create a new image. Download my Marbling toolkt (981 KB). Unzip and extract the brush to your Presets directory and the Deformation Maps to your Deformation Maps directory. Create a new image 250 pixels wide by 250 pixels high, 24 bit. |

Cover the image using the Marbling brush. Set your foreground and background swatches to two different but compatible colors. Here I've used #A32392 and #FF8105. Click on the |

Warp the image. Click on the |

Load another Deformation Map. Repeat the above step, but this time load the amc_nonpariel deformation map. |

Make the image seamless for use as a tile. Crop the image slightly to get rid of the ragged edges. Effects->Image Effects->Seamless Tiling. The default settings worked for this image, you may need to play with the settings to get a tile that you like. |

Other traditional patterns. There are a few other deformation maps included in the zip to create traditional marbling patterns with. To create a Cascade pattern, first load the amc_getgel and then amc_cascade. To create a Chevron, load amc_getgel, amc_cascade and amc_chevron, in that order. |
