Editorial by Corinna Richards
It's Autumn again, and I have too admit that this is my favorite time of year. There is something about the changing colors, the smell of damp fallen leaves and fermenting earth that pulls me outdoors. I love walking in the forest or working in the garden at this time. There is also something about the changes in this season that inspire changes in me. Although write all year round, Autumn is one of my most creative and productive seasons. I often experiment with a new style or project, something I have never attempted before.
Sadly this Autumn is unlike any other before, as the events of the September 11th tragedy are weighing upon us all. I am deeply saddened not only but the great loss but also in knowing that human beings can commit such atrocious acts upon each other. My heart goes out to all the families and friends of victims, rescue workers and everyone out there who is helping us to recover, and also to the innocent Muslims all over the wold who do not support the terrorist actions, but are being made victims because of their religion.
Please do not judge Islam by the corrupt tenets of a minority of Muslims, and please continue to support the recovery cause.
This issue we meet some new members and welcome back some familiar faces. I'd like to thank everyone for participating. If you would like to contribute to the Winter edition, which will be live on December 22nd, please make submissions by December 12th.
Meanwhile, have a fun Fall and keep the creative flames burning.
