Warrant #473 (1 Oct 1778)
"....You are hereby required as soon as may be, to lay off and survey, for Elaxander Harbeson, a Tract or Parcel of Land, containing 640 acres, lying in the county aforesaid, on the fouling (falling) Branch that Emtys into Siler (silver) Creek on the east side of said Creek. Beginning on John Nales' line and including said Harbeson's and running upe the foresaid Foling Branch for Complement. Entred 6 July 1777? (1778?)..."

Survey (16 Dec 1778)
"Surveyed for Alexander Harbison lying in the County aforesaid on the No. E. side of the falling branch, a fork or Silver Creek. Beginning at a Stake and pointers on the East side of a ledge (?) in John Niell's No and So Line. Thence with sd line South 197 to a Stake and pointers on the S.E. Bank of said branch, it being sd Niell's So E corner. Thence so 27 1/2 degrees East 93 poles bounded by Land of Thomas Kennedy's to a black oak on the bank of said Branch. These So 28 1/2 deg east 187 poles up sd branch with said Kennedy's line to a White oak tree on the bank of the branch, it being Kennedy's So. E. corner thence east 123 poles to a post in a hollow. Thence north 440 poles crossing a small branch to a pine tree on the east side of the ledge (?) . Thence west 275 poles Xing the bare brance to the beginning. Containing 640 acres....
