They are the joint owners of a tract of land containing about 22 acres in the first civil District of Williamson County by descent from Joseph Lampley who died intestate several years ago. This land was a Tennessee Grant. Joseph Lampley left surviving him five children:

2. Joseph Lampley
3. Martha Lampley married _____ White
4. Betsey Lampley married ______Sullivan
5. Nancy Lampley married ______ Tompkins
All of the above children are now dead and the descendents are named.
Jan. 28, 1901 Deposition of Dan White
I knew Mrs. Martha White who claimed the maiden name of Lampley. She married Joshua White and they had 11 children, three of whom died in infancy and the other 8 raised
families. Martha died in 1862. Their children were:
1. David White (the oldest child) moved to Texas 45 years ago and is dead but left a family.
2. James White went to Texas at the same time - died and left a family, mostly girls.
3. Luraney married Daniel Spencer and was at Loan Texas the last account of her, she was still living.
4. B.F. White and family are all dead except Al White of Spencer Mill.
5. Jesse White still lives near here.
6. Elizabeth Arnor is still living and lives at Spencer's Mill, Dickson County, Tenn.
7. Nancy Parker lived in Indian Territory.
8. Daniel White's address is Spencer's Mill.
Deposition of J.G. Hendricks, age 37 years old, resides in Franklin, Tenn.
I have known of the tract of land in the first district owned by W.G. Lampley and on which he was living when he died. There is about 100 acres in the ?. It is rolling land. There is a small log dwelling house and a log barn or small stable with 2 or 3 stalls in it and a small
smoke house when I was last there. It has a fair spring and plenty of stock water, plenty of fire wood, and no valuable timber. The land cannot be divided into 8 or 9 parts. It would be in the best interest of the heirs for it to be sold and a division made.
Deposition of J.F. Buttery, Dec. 23, 1899
I am well aquainted with the tract of land owned by Joseph Lampley and live about 3/4 miles of it and have known it for nearly ___ years. I was born and raised with the heirs.
