So you want to know more about me?

A little cloud of my own...

So you wanted to know more about me?

UPDATE: I graduated from UC Berkeley in May 2001. I'm currently working Mountain View, across Highway 101 from Moffett Field. Wave if you drive by.

I'm an aspiring molecular/cellular biology major. Fall 1997 semester is long over, with these courses completed: Chemistry 1A, Anthropology 2: Intro to Archaeology, Comparative Literature 1B, and Slavic Literature 39E. The Spring 1998 semester consisted of Chemistry 3A, Math 1A, Classics 28: Classical Mythology, and a Womens Studies seminar. I was also the course assistant for the Computer Science 39C seminar this spring.

For the past Fall 1998 semester, I took Chemistry 3B, Biology 1A, Integrative Biology 131: Human Anatomy, Integrative Biology 131A: Applied Anatomy, and Molecular/Cellular Biology 98: Complementary Medicine. This Spring 1999 semester I am currently in the process of finishing up Biology 1B, Geography 70AC: The Urban Experience, Astronomy C12: The Planets, and Math 1BM.

I'm an active in the Gamma Gamma chapter of the international co-ed service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. Activation for me was November 20, 1998, so I'm still a relatively new active. I'm learning as I go. :) If you would like to chat about APhiO or learn more about it, send me an email!

I'm really enjoying the dorm experience for all of three reasons: I'm on the network! (woohoo, no more 14.4 modem for me!); it's a 5 minute walk to my classes (compared to a 45 minute commute from home); and DORM FOOD! (no, I really am kidding about this last one...) I don't think I'm ready for an apartment. I'm still enjoying the sheltered lifestyle of a dorm dweller.

Cal, otherwise known as the University of California, Berkeley, is a fabulous school. I bet you already knew that. It's located in a small urban city, but if you're the type of person who can't live without your weekly walk in the wilderness, don't worry. Tilden Regional Park is situated on the northeast side of campus, behind the football stadium, and is easily reachable via shuttle. It's a large park, great for biking and hiking. There's a botanical garden, lake, carousel, train ride, and more. I definitely recommend Inspiration Point for a nice view of the Bay Area. Be sure to check it out while you're up there! If you have any questions about this wonderful ;) school, feel free to email and ask!
