Welcome to the Online Baseball Simulation League! Here at the OBSL, you get to be the GM of a major league baseball team and run it the way you see fit. We use a game called Diamond Mind Baseball to simulate all our games. (Go to www.diamond-mind.com to learn more about the game.) That way, we don't have to rely on the real major leaguers or any other online fantasy server being too busy to give us our stats for the day. We also use real major league salaries to determine our salary caps. If a player gets traded in MLB, and he restructures his contract to fit in with the new team, his contract will also be restructured here in our league. We have interleague play, an All-Star Game and post-season awards as well, including league MVPs, Cy Young Award winners, Gold Gloves, and Best RP Awards. Playoffs will start on the same day and with the same format as MLB, and the OBSL World Series will take place at the same time as the real World Series. And once the season is over, we will begin a new one, with new players, maybe some new GMs, and quite possibly some new teams.

We're always looking for active GMs to play and if there's enough of a demand later on, we'll talk about expanding the number of teams to accommodate everyone.
