                                                       Our History
     The Holmesian Studies SIG began in June 1988 after the Holmes centennial revived my interest. I discovered that the former such special interest group of American Mensa had ended mysteriously "because of lack of interest."
    There was interest however and by January 1995 we were recognized by the Baker Street Irregulars as an official scion.
  Our newsletter The Norbury Chronicle  has featured such interesting items as:
