Itta Bena( pronounced with a short i, short a's and a long e), is Choctaw for "Wood Camp".
Since I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, USA, I felt it a very appropriate name for my crafting business.
Behind my house.
Just up the road.
Up the road a little further.
All of my crafts are created by earth, hand and spirit.
The only time that I will ever use a plastic bead is on a key chain, and I only use them then is because they hold up better.
