The following is list of soldiers of the 114th Ohio Regiment who lost their lives in service of their country during the Civil War

Cpl. William Allen, Co. A,  age 21
died July 4th 1863 at Warrenton, Miss.  He is burried at Vicksburg National Cemetery, section H, grave 121

Pvt. Samuel Blizzard, Co. A. age 28,
died April 23, 1863 at Millikens Bend, La. He is buried at Madison Parish Cemetery, La. section E, grave 123

Pvt. William Hamilton, Co. A. age 32
died Feb. 2, 1863 at Millikens Bend, La. He is buried in Madison Parish Cemetery, La. section H, grave 123

Pvt. Simon Rinesmith, Co. A, age 22
died March 23, 1863 in St. Louis, Mo. He is buried at National Cemetery  Jefferson Barracks, section 65, grave 125

Pvt. Henry Strait, Co. A age 24
died June 6, 1863 in the hospital at Milikens Bend, La.  He is buried in Madison Parish Cemetery, La. section E, grave 363

Pvt. John T. James, Co. A, age 21
died Dec. 4, 1862 on steamer "Duke of Argyle". His burial place is unknown

Sgt. John Harrison, Co. D age 39
(1824-1863). Captured at Raymond, MS in hospital while suffering from disease, died a prisoner of war, Augusta GA, buried Marietta, GA National Cemetery section E, 6523.   Brother of Capt. Scott Harrison

Pvt. Gustavus Askins, Co. K, age 32,
died May 27, 1863 at Millikens Bend, La.  He is buried in Vicksburg National Cemetery, section H, grave 80
