When did you start to draw?: I was drawing at a very early age...doodling is a better word. About 5 or 6 years old I was copying pictures of Batman and Robin off of comic books and game boxes. First Comic Read?: I have to say my first introduction into the Comic book world was not from comics but from the Superfriends cartoon and the Batman TV series staring Adam West. The first Comic I bought was an issue of Batman with a giant sized Joker standing over Gotham holding a ace of spades card with the caped crusader strapped to it. That was so cool! Who inspired you as a young artist?: the unsung heroes of 70's Saturday moring animation such as Alex Toth and Chuck Jones and Tex Avery. Also Norman Rockwell and My father Who are you favorite artists today?: Bruce Timm...Adam Hughes...Jack Kirby...George Perez...Steve Rude.. and of course Alex Ross What main stream characters would you like to draw? DC-The Titans..Marvel- The Fantastic Four. both have a sense of family & friendship. |
