Latest NewsFlash!

Patrick Swayze and Natasha Richardson are Waking Up in Reno. The story revolves around two redneck couples from Arkansas who take a vacation to see a monster-truck show, but, en route, they discover infidelity among themselves. Swayze and Charlize Theron would play one couple, while Billy Bob Thornton and Richardson would play the other. Shooting is slated to begin this month in Los Angeles, Texas and Nevada.

As I don't live in the US, I do not have updates of Natasha's appearences on TV. However, if someone wishes to contribute to the site, I'll be glad to put it up here!

OK, now for the good stuff:

Natasha and Liam seem to be great friends with Al Pacino and Beverly D'Angelo, and Ralph Finnes. Thye were seen dining together at Cafe Luxenborg with Al and Beverley, then meeting Ralph later for drinks!

Natasha appears in an episode of "Tales from the Crypt" along with Greg Wise. The episode is called "Fatal Caper". Its about a rich man's greedy heirs quarreling about his will.

Remember Natasha was supposed to appear in the movie called "Cotton Mary"? Well, she is no longer part of the cast in that movie. Instead, she will be appearing in a new movie due out in the summer of 2000!

Natasha's new movie is called "Last Word on Paradise". It is directed by Ethan Hawke, and also stars Uma Thurman and Kris Kristofferson. They were seen filming the movie at the Chelsea Hotel.

A small bit of Natasha trivia: Liam always seems to interrupt her whenever she is talking!

There are alot of articles on Natasha in magazines, here's a list of magazines that she has appeared in:

Here's a short snippet of an interview with Liam Neeson very recently:

The ruggedly handsome Neeson, who stands 6-foot-4, knows he has a reputation as a ravenous ladies man, having romanced such stars as Brooke Shields, Helen Mirren and Barbra Streisand. But "it's embarrassing now that I have a family.

All that is water under the bridge." Neeson says he's devoted to his wife of five years, sexy actress Natasha Richardson and their two kids, Michael, 4, and Daniel, 2. Still, you can't teach an old dog - or a randy actor - new tricks. He still admits to flirting like mad. "If a fan is very, very cute, I'll listen to her. I admit I'm a flirt. I love flirting," he admitted.

"[Natasha] doesn't mind, but I've toned my flirting down. When I'm with Natasha, I tone it down a lot."

Neeson Calls It Quits!!!:- Screen star Liam Neeson ("Schindler's List") has shocked the movie industry. The Irish-born actor told reporters in New York that he will never make another film and is quitting Hollywood in disgust after being treated like a "puppet." The surprise announcement comes as Neeson's role in "Star Wars -- Episode I: The Phantom Menace" looks certain to propel the 46-year-old star to even greater fame. (Neeson stars as Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn in the prequel, which opens May 19.) Neeson says he plans to perform in just one play a year and devote the rest of his time to his family (he is married to actress Natasha Richardson) and fly-fishing.

Natasha appeared in the latest issue of Manhatten FILE magazine, and its one HOT cover picture of her!

Sorry for taking so long to finally update the news, but I was taking a hiatus, and am back!! Here's what's been happening since:

The 1999 Tony Awards nominations are out but Natasha was not nominated this year. :(

Natasha is presently still performing in "Closer" at the Roundabout Theatre, NY. So if you all are in U.S and have not seen her in it yet there's still time. Ticketing details are on my "Info on Closer" page.

Natasha will be appearing in a new movie called "Cotton Mary". It is presently still being filmed and will most likely be out at cinemas by the end of this year or early next year. So watch out for it!

The Outer Circle Critics Awards nominations are out, and sadly Natasha was not nominated in the best actress category. However, "Closer" the play that she is presently acting in, was awarded the Special Achievement Award.

The Academy Awards (Oscars!!) news: The girl that went to the awards with Liam was NOT Natasha, but her younger sister Joely Richardson. Natasha could not make it for the awards as she was performing on stage that evening in New York, in the Broadway play, "Closer".

The charity auction (of Oscar dresses) to fund AIDS charities had raise US$786,000, not too bad don?t you think?

This month's Vanity Fair has an article about "Closer" and a terrific photograph of Natasha in character. Try and get a copy of it!!

Closer previews staring 03/09 at the Music Box Theatre. It opens on 03/25. An intense play about sex, deceit and the usual stuff for Ms. Richardson...dark and probably excellent.

The auction to benefit AmFar (The American Foundation for AIDS research) will be held on 03/18 at Christies. For those unable to actually afford to bid, there is a catalog of the fabulous clothes which will be auctioned...proceeds to the fund. That catalog can be obtained for $40 plus $5 shipping and handling by calling 1.800.395.6300. (see my "Closer" info page for more details)

Natasha appeared on VIEW, and she will be going back to Broadway in 3 weeks to star in a play called "Closer". Details about the charity auction (of Oscar dresses) to fund AIDS charities can be viewed on the View website, which can be accessed via the ABC website.
