F-111s

The mighty F-111s came into service amid much controversy about 30 years ago. A young female F-111 navigator was surprised to hear about F-111s being the planes whose wings fell off but then she wasn't born at that stage! They do the dump and burn which was so spectacular at the Closing Ceremony for the Sydney 2000 Olympics - apparently an ex-Macksville lad flew that F-111.
