Flying Fox Festival
We had "Walking with Spirits" at Beswick
Falls on Saturday night and then Croc Festival went for three
days until the Flying Fox Festival started and lasted for a week.
Lots of Festivals! Something for everyone. I went to:
* dragon boat racing @ Nitmiluk National Park.
* Lambu Lambu Aboriginal Song & Dance featuring
the Jarraluk Dancers and Yilila Band. The "CELEBRATE"
banner was at Lambu Lambu and everyone was invited to add their
bit in paint.
*Rhythms of Gambia drumming workshop.
*Tindal Open Day where the RAAF strutted its stuff
(Hercs, jets, dogs, a band, drill marching).
*Parks & Wildlife ranger talk on flying foxes.
