Leaving on a Jet Plane
Here I am leaving on a jet plane from Darwin yet
again. Embarking on a school cultural tour of Japan with 7 year
9 girls, we were driven the 320km to Darwin on the school bus
with the boys going to Sydney for athletics. Then we flew from
Darwin to Nhulumbuy (Gove) & thence to Cairns in North Queensland
- right across the very top of Australia. Twenty four hours after
leaving Katherine we were finally out of Australia and on our
way to Japan, armed with yen and great expectations.
