And it is not a Show without the exhibits in dozens of different rural, domestic and artistic categories. Rice was a major theme of the 2004 Katherine Show so there were paintings and sculptures and stories about rice. When the judges have made their decisions in the various categories, the blue certificates are placed next to the winning exhibits and there are also cash prizes for the winners. Country Shows always have a "thing" about big pumpkins!
