River Walk

Alongside the Motoyasu River in the Peace Memorial Park is a literary monument dedicated to Miekichi Suzuki who was born in Hiroshima (1882-1936). He started a childrens' magazine in 1918 ("Akai Tori" = "Red Birds") which included world fairy tales and songs.
