The Streets of Japan

The streets were not as crowded with traffic as I expected - maybe I was never out during peak hours. If the cars weren' t a real hazard then the bicycles made up for that! People were riding them along the footpaths in great numbers. All of the cars were new (no old bangers) and kept very clean (no NT dust there!). I couldn't figure out the number plates but they seemed to be linked to the locality.

It was amazing how many of the commercial logos I recognised - technology, photography, cars, tractors & heavy machinery. We import them all!
