Tea Ceremony

The students of both schools had a taste of traditional Japanese culture. We started with tea ceremony. The tea is served with green "cake" which is similar to a jelly coated in sprinkles.

I was surprised that the traditional Japanese culture seemed just as novel to the students of Mihara Junior High School as it was to the Katherine High School students.
