Waterwise
After years of Clybucca drought, I am attuned to
the plants that are waterwise - the hardy natives that survive
periods of drought. They have their own special beauty. The waratah
is the flower symbol of NSW and always looks gorgeous. Kangaroo
paws are desert dwellers but new varieties are being developed
and the colour choice is amazing. Proteas are not really native
but they do particularly well among our indigenous plants.
