In the following pages you can find a list of links to sites offering free project plans for amateurs' use. The level of complexity goes from beginner to expert, and everybody can find something appropriate to his/her skills.
The list wants to be world wide, so we have made an effort to list sites all over the world. Obviously the drawback is that some links point to sites in a language other than English. To limit the communication problems, in these cases we have added an auxiliary link to the AltaVista automatic translator. The results are not great, but acceptable. The auxiliary link is indicated by a red ball (
) you have to click on. If you want, you can buy the full translator program from Systran.
Sites tend to change over time. Sometime they disappear. In case you find a wrong address, or the address of a new project, you are invited to signal it to the webmaster.
We have not listed the sites that offer plans for a fee. These ones can be easily found using the most popular search engines.
