need </div> <div> The angels come, my soul to feed. </div> <div> They come to me from up above </div> <div> and sing in whispers of "His" love. </div> <div> When in my heart I feel a tug </div> <div> unicorn standing proud and tall,</div> <div> I shan't go near lest he bolt away,</div> <div> I watch him, secure in the knowledge he doesn't know I'm here.</div> <div> His white coat gleaming in the sun of day,</div> <div> His mane of silver glistening with drops of mountain mist,</div> <div> His ebony eyes mirroring the majestic heart within.</div> <div> Suddenly, he turns those eyes to me,</div> <div> I freeze knowing that this magic moment is about to end.</div> <div> I know his mighty hooves will soon pound away.</div> <div> But then, our eyes meet and I realize there is a kinship there,</div> <div> In our locked gaze he seems to say, my friend, your heart is pure,</div> <div> And you can join the unicorns without worry and without fear.</div> <bR> <div> <IMG SRC="48a46130.gif" <div> FOR YOU FRIEND </div> <bR> <div> <B>Every evening</B></div> <div> <B>as I'm laying here in bed.</B></div> <div> <B>This little prayer keeps running</B></div> <div> <B>through my mortal head. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>God bless my mom and dad,</B></div> <div> <B>and bless my little child.</B></div> <div> <B>And take care of my spouse</B></div> <div> <B>when things start getting wild... </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>you see, that little metal box</B></div> <div> <B>holds more than odds and ends.</B></div> <div> <B>Inside those small components</B></div> <div> <B>rest a hundred of my 'BEST FRIENDS'. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Some it's true I've never seen</B></div> <div> <B>and most I've never met.</B></div> <div> <B>We've never shaken hands</B></div> <div> <B>or shared a meal as yet... </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>I know for sure they like me</B></div> <div> <B>by the kindness that they give.</B></div> <div> <B>And this little scrap of metal</B></div> <div> <B>is how i travel to where they live. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>by faith is how I know them</B></div> <div> <B>much the same as I know You.</B></div> <div> <B>I share in what life brings them</B></div> <div> <B>from that our friendship grew. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>"PLEASE" take an extra minute</B></div> <div> <B>from your duties up above,</B></div> <div> <B>to bless this hunk of metal</B></div> <div> <B>that's filled te weten hoe lang een maand duurt, </div> <div> vraag het aan de moeder </div> <div> die een maand te vroeg haar kind kreeg. </div> <bR> <div> Om te weten hoe lang een week duurt, </div> <div> vraag het aan de uitgever van een weekblad. </div> <div> Om te weten hoe lang een uur duurt, </div> <div> vraag het aan de geliefden </div> <div> die wachten om elkaar weer te zien. </div> <bR> <div> Om te weten hoe lang een minuut duurt, </div> <div> vraag het aan degene </div> <div> die z'n trein, bus of vliegtuig heeft gemist. </div> <div> Om te weten hoe lang een seconde duurt, </div> <div> vraag het aan degene die </div> <div> iemand heeft verloren ten gevolge van een ongeval. </div> <bR> <div> Om te weten hoe lang een honderdste seconde duurt, </div> <div> vraag het aan degene die een </div> <div> zilveren medaille won op de Olympische Spelen. </div> <bR> <div> De tijd wacht op niemand. </div> <div> Geniet van de momenten die </div> <div> je hebt en ze zullen van grote waarde zijn. </div> And every now and then </div> <div> I go and take a look. </div> <bR> <div> That is when I realize </div> <div> these names they are a part, </div> <div> not of the book they're written in </div> <div> but taken from the heart. </div> <bR> <div> For each name stands for someone </div> <div> who has crossed my path sometime, </div> <div> and in that meeting they have become </div> <div> the reason and the rhyme. </div> <bR> <div> Although it sounds fantastic </div> <div> for me to make this claim, </div> <div> I really am composed </div> <div> of each remembered name. </div> <bR> <div> Although you're not aware </div> <div> of any special link, </div> <div> just knowing you, has shaped my life </div> <div> more than you could think. </div> <bR> <div> So please don't think my greeting </div> <div> as just a mere routine, </div> <div> your name was not </div> <div> forgotten in between. </div> <bR> <div> For when I send a greeting </div> <div> that is addressed to you, </div> <div> it is because you're on the list </div> <div> of folks I'm indebted to. </div> <bR> <div> So whether I have known you </div> <div> for many days or few, </div> <div> in some ways you have a part, </div> <div> in shaping things I do. </div> <bR> <div> I am but a total </div> <div> of many folks I've met, </div> <div> you are a friend I would prefer </div> <div> never to forget. </div>
