In October of 2000, Train 17 took a Norfolk Southern GP38-2 back to the interchange in downtown Chester. The railroad had used the unit for two days and were not impressed with it.
Earlier that day, Train 17 picked the unit up from the wye.
SW900 #91 leads cab first through Richburg.
