LLPX SW1500 #215 and L&C SW900 #91 cross Ecology Lane at the
wye in
East Chester circa June, 2001. The LLPX unit hasn't been used too
much save for this
run and a few trips to AmeriSteel on the Kershaw District. As it
stands now, she needs some rewiring in order to work with the 900s in use
by the L&C. The same work was
done on the 1500s 95 and 96. But since the L&C is leasing this
unit, they can't do the
work that needs to be done. In this shot, 91 is dead in tow after
it went on the ground
at Union Carbide. The last I heard, this unit would undergoing servicing
in Lancaster
and will soon be back in regular service. (JCH)
