C&O high nose GP9 #6187 from Chessie Photo Archives. (Dean J. Heacock Photo.) This unit eventually became South Carolina Central #6187 and was chopped nosed by the railroad in Hartsville, SC. It is presently in storage on the Carolina Piedmont wearing orange and white SCRF paint.
