And I saw an angel
Dancing in my mind
Hovering just out of reach
She was laughing playfully
As fresh spring air
Erupted in the hot, muggy inside
Tell them you came
For me
With me
Because
Of me
Tell them you came
Tell them you saw
Tell them you loved

The room is dark
w/the exception
of passing headlights
& a neon sign flashing
“vacancy” in blood red letters
outside the window.
This does not bother me, however,
for my heart and mind
are carrying on an
intelligent conversation
about you.
