Posting Dream & Dreaming Events on the Net

Proposals for Internet Projects in the Field of Dreams

How shall we get the word out? What are the best ways to get information about dream and dreaming events to one another?

Generally on the Internet, the task is distributed and large indexes and search engines pull this information together.

Also, special group put up their own magazines, newsgroups, bulletin boards and Web sites to filter the relevant information.

But though the task is distributed, there are ways for each group to make their information available to others. Also, we have found that PASSIVE sites have to be combined with ACTIVE seeking for information. What does this mean? Simply that a repository is *one* way to collect information, but as any news service knows, the reporters and correspondents have to be right out there to really get the news.

I am recommending here that you post these ideas on the ASD bulletin board so we can begin talking about non-intrusive distributions practices and technical indexing methods. But also to post and distribute your messages to as many services as possible. Richard Wilkerson
